Mirjam Wielema won the Magna Cum laude award at the European Congress of Radiology 2017 with her poster: "Region of interest standardisation for diffusion-weighted imaging of breast malignancies."
Marly van Assen won the second place in American heart Association- Cardiovascular Radiology and intervention Young investigator Award with her presentation: “Dynamic CT analysis of myocardial perfusion parameters comparing different temporal sampling rates using third generation dual source CT.”
Marjolein Heuvelmans won the Vera Bonta prize based on her thesis (cum laude): “Optimization of nodule management in low-dose CT lung cancer screening.” This prize is dedicated to ground breaking research in the field of lung cancer. The prize was awarded January 20th.
Gert Jan Pelgrim won two prizes in the last months. At the ESCR in Krakau, he won the magna cum laude award for his poster: “Quantification of myocardial perfusion using dynamic CT perfusion analysis on third generation dual source CT in an ex-vivo porcine heart model.” At the same conference he won the prize for best scientific presentation by a Dutch representative, awarded by the cardiovascular section of the NVvR (the Dutch Association of Radiology). The title of the presentation was: ”Optimal timing of single-shot iodine distribution scans based on dynamic CT perfusion analysis.”
